PARC Surgical Center understands that many of our patients and their families come from various locations in order to receive the premier surgical care provided by our internationally-renowned providers and staff. In an effort to make your surgical experience more comfortable and convenient, we have provided a list below of hotels and lodging options near our office which offer discounts to our patients. If you have any questions, please contact our office and our friendly and knowledgeable staff will be happy to talk with you more about your upcoming surgical procedure.

*Our regular hotel list has been altered below to reflect respective COVID-19 modifications. These updated were given on May 7th, 2020. As these protocols change frequently, please call your hotel of choice to get the most up-to-date information. Please also note that we recommend you do not eat out at a restaurant, but rather buy groceries and eat where you are staying, or order take out and delivery. You may also consider booking an Airbnb with a kitchen rather than a hotel room.

 La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dallas Plano - The Colony

PERKS: Walking distance to our office. Within walking distance of the surgery center, the La Quinta is conveniently close and quality option. Enjoy free breakfast and wifi, and choose from two room options. You may choose the King suite with walk in shower and sofa sleeper, or a double queen room with a bathtub. Don't feel like leaving your room for dinner? Take advantage of free delivery from door dash and choose from many local restaurants to bring dinner right to your door. A microwave and fridge are included in each room. Take a dip in the pool or enjoy the comfortable lobby. Plus, hot coffee, tea, and hot cocoa are available any time you want some! *This hotel remains open. They are not serving breakfast, disinfecting the lobby multiple times daily, and maintaining a rule of 6 feet between every person. There is not a kitchen in which you can cook, but each room does have a microwave and fridge if you'd like to bring groceries to your room. You are also welcome to bring in take out, or order delivery. The pool and gym are closed until further notice. Staying on the first floor helps you avoid unnecessary exposure to stairwells and elevators. Please request to stay on the first floor when booking your room, or let the staff know well in advance.

 Staybridge Suites - Frisco

One of our most luxurious options, the Staybridge Suites offers lovely apartment style rooms with kitchen, office area, and living area. Great for families who choose to stay an extended period of time! Some nights each week a free meal is provided to guests, ask for details upon making your reservation! Adding to it's apartment home feel, staybridge offers free laundry machines downstairs, convenient for your needs as a family on the go. If you want to step out of your room but don't want to go far, this option has a cozy fireplace as well as a private media room in the lobby. You can book a "Studio" floor plan, which can include 1 king bed plus a sofa sleeper, or 2 queen beds with a sofa sleeper or you can choose a "One bedroom" floor plan, which can also include 1 king bed plus a sofa sleeper, or 2 queen beds with a sofa sleeper. The staff is in the process of getting front desk shields, housekeeping is limited for stay over guests (guests staying 2 or more nights), they won't touch common areas in rooms, just take trash and towels. If a guest would like fresh sheets, they can be provided, and the guest may put them on the bed themselves. The breakfast buffet is closed, but limited grab and go options are provided in the lobby. Rooms in this hotel are equipped with a full kitchen, so you may choose to grocery shop and cook your meals in your suite. You are also welcome to bring in take out, or order delivery, and you will have to come to the front desk to pick up your delivery. The gym and pool are closed until further notice. Staying on the first floor helps you avoid unnecessary exposure to stairwells and elevators.  Homewood Suites

PERKS: Free shuttle to and from our office with the ability to cook your own meals. If you are looking for a home away from home, Homewood Suites might be right for you. Their many suite options include a full dining room, living room, and bedroom(s) within the suite, a full kitchen with refrigerator, stovetop, and microwave, blackout drapes, private bathroom with shower/tub combination, free WiFi and internet access, and a complimentary shuttle to and from our office and the hospital as well as all parks and shopping centers within a five mile radius. Other amenities can be found on their website which include special complimentary dinners and a cocktail hour for residents. Located at 3240 Parkwood Blvd Frisco, TX 75034 walking distance to Stonebriar Mall, many stores, and tons of restaurants this hotel is about 10-15 minutes from our office in The Colony. To book with the discount: Call or email Hanna at hanna.baucom@magnolialodging.com and ask for the Hypospadias Specialty Medical Discount.  The Holiday Inn Plano - The Colony

PERKS: Free breakfast and a shuttle to and from our office. This is a spacious and comfortable hotel with a friendly staff, a 24 hour shop including snacks, drinks, item you may have forgotten to pack - and even tylenol and motrin! You have 2 room options: a large King Suite with walk in shower, or double queen bed rooms with bathtubs and spacious walk in tile area. Each room has a free roaming desk and chair. ADA rooms are available upon request. You can order your breakfast from a menu, or sometimes grab it at the buffet, and enjoy it in their breakfast café area. Alternative Options

Sometimes hotel/food/transportation (etc.) can get pretty costly. We want to be able to offer another option for our families. Below are some alternative options to hotels which many parents find to be a huge financial help:

Ronald McDonald House - 4707 Bengal Street, Dallas, TX 75235 

"When your child is sick, you want the best care possible - even if it is hundreds or thousands of miles away." The Ronald McDonald House allows families to access specialized medical treatment by providing a place to stay at little or sometimes no cost. At every house, families can enjoy home-cooked meals, private bedrooms, and playrooms for children. Space is limited, so if you feel Ronald McDonald House is the best option for you, please let us know as soon as possible and we will have our social worker at the hospital make a referral for you.

Ark House - Dallas, TX

Ark House is a similar facility which offers low-cost temporary medical housing to families who live a minimum of 50 miles away. They have an interview process in order to identify families who meet their requirements and space is also limited, so if you would like a referral, please let us know as soon as possible and we will have social services submit a request on your behalf.

AIRBNB

Depending on the timeframe and length of stay, many families find AirBnB is a more affordable option for their stay. Airbnb has many local houses for rent options from stays as short as 2 nights to stays that last several months. Their website offers a search option which allows you to specify if you would like to book an entire house or just a private room in a house as well as your price range, amenities you require, etc. You can even read reviews about the homeowner before you decide to book.
